Dan's rating: 10.
Evan's rating: 10.
Rich's rating: 9.

The big winner by a wide margin in 2004. I think it's starting to wear on people, though, and it seems like a prime candidate for an expansion deck.

Walter's rating: 9.
Dan's rating: 8.

Given the popularity of Puerto Rico, this shouldn't be a surprise . . . it's a good alternative filler game for MVGA.

It hasn't hit the table since the summer, but this outstanding game still is among our top choices for 2004. The bidding and building mechanisms are very interesting and well integrated.

Eric's rating:
Walter's rating:
Dan's rating:
Evan's rating:

One of Knizia's best: an auction game, one that went out of print and now seems to be much in demand in the gamer community. We'd love to have a copy for the Game Library.

Last Played: September 9, 2004.

Eric's rating:
Walter's rating:
Dan's rating:
Evan's rating:
Rich's rating:

A trading game set in the Baltic. While not as complex and brain-burning as Kogge, it's easier to get into. Much liked here at MVGA.

Tied at 8 plays: ALHAMBRA, COLORETTO, POWER GRID, SAN MARCO .

Some of our regulars think that Princes is a tad too mechanical, but it's unlike most Eurogames. I still haven't worked out all of the strategies.
